What makes The Connective different than other networking groups

Who is eligible to join?

The Connective is exclusively for professionals selling B2B products and services. We’re not the right fit for local service businesses or salespeople restricted to local territories. Members must be subject matter experts with a proven track record of delivering for their clients and, where legally eligible, willing to pay referral fees. Most importantly, our members must embody the spirit of a true connector-someone eager to build relationships and make meaningful introductions for others.

What is your onboardingand vetting process?

Over 90% of our members are recommended by existing members, and we carefully evaluate each request to ensure the right fit. The process begins with our weekly information session, where prospective members learn about The Connective and how we operate. From there, you’ll be invited to attend a chapter meeting to experience the community firsthand. If a seat is available and you meet our membership criteria, you’ll receive an official invitation to join

Where do the members live?

The vast majority of our members live in the United States, but we also have a small number of members in other countries who meet our membership criteria. Because our chapters are primarily virtual and location-agnostic, members can participate fully from anywhere in the world. This flexible structure ensures that everyone has access to a wide variety of options and opportunities, regardless of where they live.

How do your meetings work?

The Connective meets entirely online, with the occasional in-person gathering. Each meeting lasts one hour. While you’ll be assigned to a home chapter, there’s no exclusivity-you’re welcome to attend meetings across any of our chapters, as well as special sessions like industry verticals. Every meeting is designed to foster genuine connections, so you’ll always leave having had meaningful one-on-one conversations with fellow members.

What are your members like?

While many networking groups exist, there’s only one Connective Community. Our members are purpose-driven subject matter experts-leaders in their fields who are dedicated to supporting one another and building long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships. One of our core principles is that everyone brings value through their network-it’s less about what each member does and more about who they can introduce you to.

Does everyone pay referral fees?

Yes. All members of The Connective, who are legally eligible, are required to pay referral fees on new business that results from a member referral. The specific amount and duration of those fees are entirely up to you, your company, and the referring member who provided the opportunity.

What platform do you use for the community?

The Connective runs on Nolodex, a platform designed for networking groups and referrals to keep everything efficient and organized. With Nolodex, you can easily search for connections, view member profiles, send and track referrals, and even make referral payments-all in a secure, transparent environment.

What is the cost of membership?

The Connective offers two payment options: a monthly membership at $100, or a discounted annual membership at $1,000. We don’t require members to pay for a full year upfront, but we do have a 90-day cancellation policy.
